| Late Diagnosis ?
I was wondering if somebody could answer me a question. About 15 years ago I was bit by a Lyme tick. I waited about 9 months, (or until I had some mild arthritis symptoms) to tell the doctor about the bullseye bite I had. I had this attitude that it couldn't be Lyme. Well it was, Wester blot and Elisa both positive. I was treated for a couple of weeks and sent on my way.
My question is, Is 9 months considered a long time to wait for treatment ? I know that many go undiagnosed for years but my doctors say that because my test were eventually equivocal (sp) that I am cured ! And they tell me that 9 months is not a long time to wait for treatment.
Ever since this whole ordeal 15 years ago I have had so many medical problems. From thyroid, heart attacks, trigger fingers, fatigue, etc, etc....
