OK I think everything may be catching up. I have been soooo lucky this far but I have a strange taste and when I looked in mirror I have a few small white patches on back of tongue. Sure it must be thrush (first time with it since starting treatment last June). I have had thrush before after a surgery but it was full blown on tongue and no doubting it.

I tried to call my LLMD but his office is closed on Fridays. The number says to call 911 for emergencys, otherwise call back Monday. I have not seen my primary since I returned from FL in August (she was the one that gave me the norm 4 weeks of meds and said I would be fine so sure she would not agree with treatment I am getting). I did call her office though and explain that I am on meds and need nystatin. The nurse said she would have her call back. I guess if she does not I will resort to going to Patient First urgent care after work because if it is thrush I know by Monday it will be terrible.

Are there any remedies I should be trying right now? I eat yogurt daily (2) and take the probiotics but am on IV rocephin. mepron and flagyl all right now. I feel lucky that it did take this long though.

Second question, should I take a precaution and maybe get some monistat. Is that what will follow next. I have only had one yeast infection in my life and I was pregnant (once again very lucky) but I am worried that if I have it in my mouth where is it going. I do not have any issues there right now though but not sure if this would prevent it.
