strange symptoms... anyone??? - Lyme Disease Message Board

Hello everyone.

I have been diagnosed with Lyme disease fairly recently (<half year). I`ve had maybe a billion different symptoms up until now (same as everyone else on these boards) and Ive been able to find most of them on the various Lyme Disease symptom lists floating around out there..
However, recently some other crazy stuff has been going on with me, so I was wondering if anyone else here has had similar symptoms; I`ve developed a tendancy to just pass off everything strange going on with my body as being because of Lyme.. I was kind of wondering lately if maybe something else is wrong with me (how wonderful)

Anyone dealing with anything like this:

1. Extremely cracking, snapping lower back, feels like my spine is slipping in and out of place or something. Tends to especially happen when bending my body (ie, bending down to put on/tie shoes, bending sideways in bed, etc)

2. weird "air bubbles in my intestines" kind of sensation. I often feel like I have diarreha (sp) and when I`m in the bathroom, its all just air...

3. "Bubbling" sensation in/on lung. It feels like liquid "on" my lung or something. Its EXTREMELY irritating and scary... if I move/stretch in a certain way, it moves and sends chills down my body... when it first started happening I used to cough a lot and I thought I was dying or something.
Now, I don`t know, I guess I`ve gotten used to it or something because I don`t really burst into coughing fits anymore, but its still there....

I`ve had many many blood tests and x-rays and nothing is ever unusual.

Anyway go through anything like that???

matt,
can't help you out with the bubbles thing but ,as far as back issues i feel your pain. mine diminished for a period of time following a couple months of abx. i seem to be back to square 1 right now. i have the same spinal sensations that start around my neck and runs down to a spot right between my shoulder blades that i have to crack constantly like you would your knuckles. it brings some relief for a short time. as for my lower back i sometimes say it sounds like a bag of marbles are inside my lower back. constant creaking,cracking and fatigue. i guess this is life as i will know it unless my next llmd can rid this once and for all.

Lumpy, I know that neck problems are typical for Lyme patients, but my daughter and I and many other people also have an upper cervical syndrome, in which the C1 and C2 tends to come out of alignment, and the best one to take care of it is a specialized N.U.C.C.A. chiropractor.

Matt, do you have IBS, Leaky Gut Syndrome, or Candida overgrowth causing your gut symptoms? You will need a natural doctor and special labs (outside the standard medical) to find the last two.

Matt, I've had gastric problems for years before being diagnosed with LD...since I've finished my treatment it has lessened so I do think it's one of the 'symptoms' of LD. Do you see a gastro doc?
