Persistent (or chronic) Lyme Disease is very resistent to antibiotic therapy. I know that the Lyme spirochete is very sensitive to total body heating so as to effect killing of the bug at 39 degress centigrade for 5 hours. This is not easy to do. I have heard of such a therapy in Switzerland known as intracellular hyperthermia. Does anyone know where the hospital or clinic is located?

I am only interested in something that is factual or established. I know the organism dies from heating @ 5 hours at 39 Centigrade, 3 hours at 40 degrees centigrade. The key is to get the heat at the site of the bug. Intracellular hyperthermia with uncoupling of mitochondria can get it done. ECT therapy may be treating the symptoms and not the disease.
