Just thought I'd let you know. Dr.(rheumatologist) never called with results of lyme test. I called his secretary and she said it was negative but to stay on doxy. He still thinks I have rheumatoid. Had an appointment with dermatologist yesterday, he looked at my legs and said what a mess. I told him what I thought it was and he said that sounded plausible to him and all my symptoms sounded like reactive arthritis to him which is often caused by some wierd bug and he made me an appointment with the infectious disease DR. for next Wed. This Dr. is supposed to be brilliant. We'll see. At least this gives me hope of getting better.

alabamalymie do you know what test was run? I suggest getting copies of your results.

Good luck at your appointment next week. Be sure to post how it goes. Sometimes infectious disease doctors are not the best to see regarding Lyme. Not to say that this will be true in your case, but if it is do not be disappointed. There are doctors who are knowledgeable about Lyme.
