I just got results sent to me, and I cannot afford to see the doctor right now as I am paying out of pocket. All of my blood tests have been really expensive. I just got results from Igenex and do now know how to interpret them.

test:
IFA, B BURGDOREFRI < 1:40 TITER
NEGATIVE

LYME IgG wetern blot:

Igenex-IGG Result: Negative
CDC/NYS RESULT: Negative

31kda was INDETERMINATE
and
41Kda : ++

everything else, negative.

LYME IgM western blot:
igenex:negative
cdc:negative

41kda ... +++
everything else: -

I think this is saying my results are negative but im not completely sure. thank you!

Hi-
It appears that your tests would say you are negative. However, Lyme tests are notoriously unreliable. If you have lots of symptoms, you may have it even if is not showing in your bloods.

Clear as mud ...right?! Welcome to Lyme. For example - I have Lyme- tested positive with wesern blo but now my bloods say indeterminate and yet I have raging symptoms including bells palsy.

I hope that helps a bit. If I were you, I'd look for a llmd. Good luck.
