Prism effect in eyes

I was sitting on my computer for about two hours. I was fine. All of a sudden I started to see almost like a prism in my vision. I walked away from the computer for a while to see if it would go away. It did not. If i had to drive like this I am not sure I would be able to. Has anybody ever had this? I thought I have read about vision issues with lyme but i am not sure if this is what they are talking about. I would love any response i can get. LaLa P.s. I think it suddenly just went away. It was really weird. Never had that before.

Re: Prism effect in eyes

Sounds like an ocular migraine. They generally take about 30 minutes to go away when I have them. Doctor says they're nothing to worry about.

Braveheart:

It only lasted about 10 minutes and no headache. Does this go along with Lyme?

Re: Prism effect in eyes

My vision got real bad after lyme and all the other critters. I can no longer drive at night.

I have had bright light things in my eyes. Don't remember having prisms. And they have gone away.

Just remember, each person is different. If it happens while driving pull over as soon as you can until it settles down.

Hang in there. With lyme there are ALL kinds of symptoms.

Jodie
