Re: Almost convinced that I have lyme, but want to see what you think....

It's probably lyme I just tend to doubt myself especially when everyone else keeps telling me I'm wrong...[/QUOTE]

DOING THAT TOO.

Went to the dr., handed her a printout from canlyme on symptoms. I only listed the symptoms i know i have for a fact, i had 40 of 75. She tossed the list asside without even hardly looking at it. Then when my results come in she doesnt even know what they mean.

I also explained i am high risk,

1. we raise labradors
2. i am an avid deer and elk hunter
3 we live in the woods
4 we have deer roam our property

she could have cared less

I would seriously consider going to see an LLMD, your doctor obviously has no knowledge about Lyme, her interpretation of your test results doesn't make any sense. Could you ask for a copy of your results perhaps?

My thoughts exactly, those results dont seem to make sense. I thinking that was the #'s of the bands.
Im trying to get the results but its an hours drive, and i am not up to it right now. I dont feel safe driving. Almost wrecked on the way to my last appt.

Have her send them to you by mail. It is your right to have a copy of them! Then I would ditch this doctor and find a Lyme specialist, an LLMD.

Talked to a buddy of mine who got bit by a tick 20 years ago, they said he had Rocky mt spotted fever. His life has been screwed ever since. He had to give up a carreer in the air force over it. Now hes fighting them for disability, it happened on duty. He has all the typical signs of advanced lymes. He diagnosed himself with rmsf. Hes all messed up. I got him to watch under our skin and he could only watch 10 mins. He said he would try again in a day or two. Hes really in bad shape no insurance at all

ok, I think I'm having a "herx" reaction. Well I hope that's what this is.... Suddenly, my lower back is quite painful. It is impossible to bend at the waist, and I can't really look down with my head. I have to sit up perfectly straight in my chair.

Other than that, I think I'm feeling better overall.

Ok another odd symptom. I'm about average weight/height, with a relatively athletic build, but - my muscles (particularly around my stomache) seems way more flabby than usual. Is this normal??? I'm worried something else is going on. It's like suddenly I became less "wide" and more fat.
