Hi all,

I was dx with lyme April 2010, treated by an llmd with a total elimination of symptoms after 3 months of abx. Tested again in July 2011, after exhibiting joint pain and malaise. Elisa was positive, as well as band 23 IGG, and 41 IGM. Thank god my MD is an LLMD and is treating me again. However, after 4 weeks of abx, doxy 200 mg/ daily, I am STILL feeling tired with awful joint and muscle pain. For the first 3 weeks on the meds, I had periodic body tingling, numbness in my hands, feet and face. Also, muscle twitching throughout my body.
Those symptoms have subsided, but 3 days ago I suddenly felt like I had the flu. This lasted for 2 days. UGH.

Anyway, is it possible to be herxing, still? Even though bloodwork shows this is a new infection? Dr. doesn't think I have a co-infection, but I am beginning to think Bart? Thoughts?
