How long should I be off antibiotics prior to Igenex testing for LD?
Anyone know what the optimum timing would be, as far as how long I should be off antibiotics (currently taking 100mg 2X's per day Doxycycline), in order to have the best chances of LD showing up in Igenex testing?
The price they gave me, for three kits, is close to $1,200....I want to make certain they are as accurate as they can be!
The Igenex operator said 7-10 days. Anyone have different advice?

They quoted the "Lyme Panel", by itself, as $475...the rest is for co-infections! The frustrating part is trying to find out if I'm getting the ones I really need! The co-infection panel is $660, plus another for $135, I don't know what this one is yet.

This information is very useful. I have read in so many posts that Igenex is the only way to go, and that it sometimes is inconclusive. I was tested a few weeks ago using the ELISA -at time of test was on my first round of Doxy 100mg 2x per day - was on 28th day of Doxy when tested. Obtained results a few days ago - the result indicated .21 Lyme antibody. I need to contact Igenex for information. Thanks for posting.
