Lyme without Joint Pain?

Hi Everybody:
Just wondering if you can have lyme without any major joint pain. I have lots of symptoms of lyme, but joint pain is not my biggest complaint. My biggest complaint is constant tingling on the top of my head on and off the day for the past 3 years and extreme neck pain and a feeling of being off balance. Also have had off and on eye twitching and also extreme neck and shoulder pain and ear pain. there are also lots of digestive issues. Plenty of other symptoms also. To many to list right now. The thing is that most people complain of joint pain and major fatigue which i dont have much of. I have insomnia big time right now. I have been trying to trouble shoot what is wrong with me for years with no answers. I did an igenix test and only had two bands positive and two bands indeterminate. I also feel that sometimes i am stumped on how to spell things that were not a problem before and a slight memory issue. Could be age related or menopause also. Last night woke up sweating. I keep my heat now very low at night because of this. I am on natural bio-identical hormones for menopause so i don't think the night sweats are menopause related. Any answers? This is only part of the list.

Thanks for your reply. I know we have spoken before. I am still suffering with no answers yet. I am not sure if i have lyme. Another question. Do you feel your symptoms are worse later in the day? Also, what about digestive issues. Do you have that? Oh, and also do you have skull bone pain? My list really goes on and on. Like others. How are you feeling these days? LaLa

Lala,

I (Jen) responded to your post, not Jodie. If you wish to address something to Jodie you might try another post with her name in the subject line.

Best,

Jen

Sorry about that. I don't know how i did that. Maybe i meant to address it to you. I know have spoken to jojo also. I am in a state of confusion. Goes with the territory. Unless it is menopause related. Well anyway, do you have any of those issued that i asked? LaLa

Re: Lyme without Joint Pain?

Lala,

I've probably had every symptom possible over the past 20 years. I came to learn that 99.9% of them were lyme related. The spirochetes can go anywhere in the tissues and if left unchecked . . . they will! Best thing I found to do when something new arose - first, to think Lyme, then to find the best alternative tx and detox for that area. In this way you will become an expert researcher, an expert in treating your own body. Also, find other Lyme groups for support and advice with different potions others have used successfully.

Hugs,

Jen
