I am not a trouble maker...

yet you have made me feel like one. I came here for comfort and to find people who understand my situation and, because I hadn't read the rules I am made to feel like a criminal. I really didn't mean to cause any problems or go against the rules, it was unintentional and as I am in Australia I was not aware of the full extent of naming Dr's. I apologise for anything I have done. I am finding it difficult at the moment as I have very little support network and am worried I have passed Lyme onto people I love including my 6year old son. I have never had a problem on any other forums I have been on over the years so I will try not to take it too personally.

I am not sure what you are apologising for but I am in australia, and seen a thing on tele about some doctors here saying there is no lyme in this country. Then I seen something else showing people with lyme here in this country and on couple with a young child going to the states to get medical help. I am not sure why doctors dont consider it now as specialist have actually said it is in Australia, some people have not been out of australia and have it. Australia needs to catch up with the data and how people here are suffering with this disease. Good luck.

Re: I am not a trouble maker...

Hi estelle, I posted a few threads where I mentioned names of treating Dr's - in hindsight it is a huge thing and Im sorry because I would hate for a LLMD or ND to be made to stop treating people because of me I think the problem estelle is in Oz we are fairly new to "Lyme Disease" and we are looking to America for guidance. They have their own problems with denying treatment to alot of very sick people, they don't want to "pay up" when it comes to this illness as treatment can be extensive and expensive and many people are suffering (more than reported). We don't have the politics that American insurance companies/Govt bodies have or the beaurecracies but we also don't have the experience treating the damn disease so its sorta a catch 22, better in some ways, worse in others. Anyway we are all here for the same reason ... to get better and hopefully we will all achieve that.
