How long after taking antibiotic Doxycycline can I be tested for Lyme?
How long after stopping taking Doxy is it reliable to have tests like ELISA, IFT, Immunoblot, NK CD57 + ELISOPOT LTT Bb done?

For how long after stopping taking antibiotics for Lyme do they hide real results?

I called a lyme specialist today for an appointment and the gal that I talked to said I would have to be off antibiotics for 2 weeks. I then called Igenex lab in Palto Alto, Ca. (one of the best lyme labs in the country, you might want to call them about getting tested) and they told me 3 weeks off.

Thanks! I thought for really reliable tests one should be off any antibiotics for 6 months. This is what my infectologist told me but I can't wait for so long because my health is deteriorating rapidly.
