Unhappy Finding a Doctor in Texas

I think I may be suffering from Lyme. As I go from doc to doc I get a different diagnosis. I suffer from all the symptoms of Lyme.

When I was a small child probably Kindergarten I pulled a tick off my scalp. My elementary school yrs I did very poorly failing first grade. When I started the 7 th grade I developed severe acne. I went to a dertermologst. He changed my diet by eleminating chocolate, cokes and fried foods. He also put me on tetracycline ( I think ). I developed a super memory. I became a straight A student by the end of the 7th grade and continued through the 8th grade. By the time I started the 9th grade I had finished the tetracycline and my memory started to fade. By my senior year I was just barley passing. All through life I have had joint pain.

I took a job where I had to stand alot. In the mid 80's I was bitten again by a tick in my private area. It stayed red and itched for seems like several months.

In the early 90's I went to a dertermologst again due to acne and a small rash under the surface of my skin on my rt leg. The doc said the rash was due to to much standing.

I then started seeing GP for my knees hurting and swelling. Again I was told it was the concrete. Changed doctors again and was told it was arthritus due to age. Now I am in my 50's. Soles of feet hurt, hands, neck, back, and many more symptoms of lyme. All any of the doctors want to do is give antiflamitory, antidepresants because I don't feel up to doing anything. I now hurt everywhere. On occasion I do feel good and over do it then suffer for weeks.

Looking at the symptoms of Lyme I have all of them. I know I have left out a lot of details. Sometime after I get this posted I will remember other details. Have a great day and a great 2013!

Re: Finding a Doctor in Texas

Hi, I am a Texan myself! So sorry to hear of your physical and mental symptoms. We
are not allowed to give the names of Doctors on this board, but I think its ok for me to tell you the name of the clinic. Its in Dallas, and the name is Renewed Vitality, located
off I635 and Forest Lane.
I too suffered with a great many symptoms, not the same ones, but the Doc here leaves no stone unturned. He is a little high, and I am a working girl myself, but jumped
right in there anyway and just charged it. So glad I did.
He is worth every cent and he spends about an hour to hour and a half just talking to you. He is the only one I know of and the only one I will go to. I have evidently had this Lymes for quite some time, but he has helped all of it a great deal. Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon.........
