Exclamation HELP! Is this Lyme or not?!
I need help....I won't go into all the long details, but I've been fighting something since I was a child. I've been diagnosed with hashimotos and was finally just tested for Lyme. The doctor sent me a letter today that said "western blot negative but IBM p23 positive. Des not meet CDC criteria but will continue to monitor". What does this mean?! From what I've read in the short amount of time since I read it, IBM p23 is a good indicator regardless of the often incorrect western blot. Can anyone help me?!

Kromay, lyme testing is not accurate. And going to doctors that are not specialist in Lyme or co-infections, is a waste of time and money. Let alone being misdiagnoised.

It would do you good if you suspect lyme to get to a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor.
Some people don't even show one band and still display symptoms.

I have heard that band 23 is lyme specific. What are all the long details. It might help if we knew.
