Help with test results please?

Hello, I do not even know what type of lyme test this was. My neuro said, "these labs are normal" but I just want to be sure because she's been wrong before. The test just states:
B. BURGDORFERI ABS (LYME DISEASE) test
my value=0.54

(Reference
Lyme Antibody:
INDEX VALUE: INTERPRETATION:
<0.90 NEGATIVE
0.90 - 1.09 EQUIVOCAL
>1.09 POSITIVE)

I take this to mean that anything above 1.09 means you may have lyme's so if my value is 0.54 I don't have lyme's then (I think). (?)

Any help is much appreciated!

Re: Help with test results please?

Hi Evangeline, the Elisa test is the worst test there is for testing for Lyme, and it is the one that most doctors use.

You need to be tested thru Igenex lab, in Palo alto Ca. You can request a test kit but need a doctor to sign off the labs. Even then, you truly need to see a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD) to rule in Lyme in or out.

What symptoms are you displaying?
Lyme can mimic over 300 conditions.
You would want to be tested for co-infectiions also. such as Babesia, Bartonella, and others.

Jodie
