Any Info Please - Lymphomas Message Board

Hi, Just Need Some Advice. I Have Just Been Referred To Ent For A Swollen Tonsil And Swollen Node Below Jaw. They Are About 2cm Big. My Tonsil Is Up And You Can See It If You Look But Is Not Painful. I Do Get Occasional Stabbing Pains In It Tho. My Nodes Have Been Like This For About 4 Months. On Top Of All This I Feel Tired Constantly. I Have A Few Days Where I Try To Catch Up With Housework Etc Then A Few Days Where I Can Hardly Do Anything Because I'm So Exhausted And Short Of Breath. I Just Had Liver Function Tests, Full Blood Count And Platelets Done And Am Waiting For Results (due Friday). I Have Itchy Skin Which I Have Never Suffered Before, Mostly On Feet, Legs And Top Of Hands. If Anyone Has Any Ideas If This Sounds Like You Or If Anyone Can Help I Would Be So Grateful. Thanks.ALSO I KEEP GETTING BAD PAINS IN MY SHOULDER BLADE NEXT TO MY SPINE AND ACCROSS TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF MY BODY AND DOWN MY SIDE SOMETIMES GOING INTO MY CHEST.

I am not sure what your question is but since you wrote on the lymphoma board, I will make a guess that you are wondering about lymphoma. The answer is I don't know. You could be suffering from a major case of tonsilitis, mononucleosis, or a varitey of other infections that would cause the same basic symptoms. The test results you are waiting for should give you a better picture of what is going on.
