Symptoms: sometimes none at all. The ones that send a person to the doctor are, fevers greater than 100 degreesF
that come and go for no apparent reason. Fatigue, night sweating, sometimes generalized itching with no apparent rash, sudden loss of 10% of normal body weight. Ex: if you normally weigh 150 lbs and suddenly drop 15 pounds over one month without a change in eating habits, or sometimes, a person will experience a sudden weight gain due to fluid retention when they never had that problem before. The most important thing to realize is that the lymph nodes that could be cancerous are usually not painful, are usually around the size of a penny or larger, and are usually fixed and not moveable. They also may not be swollen in the normal places such as under the chin, but may be located above the collar bone on either side. These are the most common symptoms, but not the only symptoms.
