And what is the usual chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Disease (in any stage)?

I think it depends on your age, LOL, hot flashes can last years!

Living in a cabin in the woods when I was diagnosed and had no night sweats; learned the meaning of a three dog night. Would suspect that you're correct though, if the cause doesn't go away neither will the symptoms?

The following are two common chemo protocols for Hodgkins:

MOPP:

mechlorethamine (nitrogen mustard)
vincristine (Oncovin)
procarbazine
prednisone

ABVD:
doxyrubicin (adriamycin)
blemycin
vinblastine
dacarbazine

My b-i-l was diagnosed when he was 28 and went through the MOPP protocol. He handled it well and has been cancer free for 15 years.
