What is this I have? - Lymphomas Message Board

I hope this is nothing, but 2 days ago i noticed a lil bump on my waistline kind of where the top of my crease is of my inner thigh, but its closer to the waist, anyways from the appearance it looks like a pimple (discoloration of the skin), which it maybe.It's about the size of a pea and hurts a little when i touch it, however that maybe because i've been messing with it. I'm just freaking out I guess. I'm not sure what a lump or swollen gland should really look like. Can anyone help. Thanks

im not a doctor but if it hurts and is moveable, it most likely is a lymph node fighting an infection and if it is smaller than 1 cm, this is normal for an healthy adult, if it continues to get larger and becomes unmoveable, it is probly best to get it checked out. I have three in a row in my groin and like u got really worried and went and seen 3 doctors and they said it was nothing to worry about but if is moveable and smaller than 1cm and is tender it is probly your body fighting some infection

did you say it's outside of the skin?on the surface? then that's not a lymph node. since it's discolored you should see a doctor...Maybe it's a pimple...try popping it? just go see a doctor if not sure it's a pimple.
