There are sweat glands under the arms as well has hair folicles that can become irritated by getting caught in the seams of clothing. Contact dermatitis can be caused by using fabric softners or by soaps getting built up residue around the seams of a garment, mixing with perspiration and setting up housing keeping for bacteria. wear soft cotton protectors between your underarms and your garments for a while and see if that helps any.
