Question

I don't really know what causes it but I have the same feelings in my fingers and sometimes my feet. I would also like to know if there is anyone out there who has
this problem or knows what causes it. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif

Kandi:
Do you have other symptoms besides the tingling hands and feet, such as tinnitus (ringing in the ears), difficulty sweating (overheating), or aching joints? If so, you might want to look up the symptoms of Fabry's and check your symptoms against those listed.

I do have ringing in my ear sometimes and I get overheated but don't actually start to sweat. I just get warm all of the sudden. I have never heard of Fabry's before...I will check out the symptoms. Thanks!

The tingling in my hands and hands feet have gotten better. My blood work came back showing that I had the Epstein Barr virus but it is not active right now. I guess that explains a lot of why I have felt so bad for so long. I am still not 100% sure though if the virus caused my hands and feet to tingling though. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif

Have you every received an answers on this question. I have the exact same problem, sometimes it just tingles, occasionally a bit of burning and the area can change it size. I've already had back surgery for lumbar herniations and an MIR showed small disc protursion at T11-12 and I'm trying to find out if that could be the cause.

I just talked to my family doctor about the tingling. He suspects it would be the facet joint irritating the nerve at the T8 level. He's recommended I try physiotherapy.
