Multiple Lumps all over body

Hi,

When i was 15yrs I had a lump removed from my forehead, When i was 21yrs i had a further 5 lumps removed from arm, back, and chest. I'm now 27yrs and Next week i go into hospital for lyposuction to removed approx 20 lump's from my chest and stomach area.

I am not overweight and i know that there is no cure such as changing diet.
I have approximatley 50-60 lumps which cover my back, legs, arms, chest, stomach, and although not very noticable I cling on to the slight glimmer of hope that it is possible to grow out of this, Has anyone been through this and grown out of it??. I'm sorry but i don't want to hear peoples opinions on my problem i just want to hear from those who have first hand experience with this problem whether it be them or a family member. If you work in the medical field i would also be very intersested to hear your experiences or opinions.

For those who may be going through this and are concerned or worried please be assured that this is not a life threatening illness it is just a bloody nuisance that cost you a lot of money to get rid off.

Many thanks

my stepson was diagnosed, at the age of 6, with neurofibromytosis. it is a genetic disorder,(tho we couldn't trace it) causing fibrous tumors to grow on nerve endings. they are 90% benign, only removed if unsightly or pressing on a vital organ. unfornunately, my son's grow in his spinal column and are slowly killing him. his is a RARE case. there is a support group and lots of info. everyone's case is different. you might want to see a neurosurgeon. hope this helps.
