| is this a cancerous lump!? please answer, im scared!
hey... a really long time ago (i cant remember how long exactly)... probably about 8 or 9 months ago, i noticed a little bump on my neck kind of underneath my skin. it isn't very big, and it doesn't hurt at all when you touch it, but i am sooo scared that it is cancer. everyone i know thinks that it is a cyst, but im such a worrying type person and i have driven myself into almost a frenzy thinking that i have cancer. someone also told me that cancerous lumps hurt when you touch them, and this lump almost looks like it is on my skin, like you can almost see it but it FEELS like it is under the skin when you touch it. it hasn't grown at all in size at all and it doesn't hurt, but i am sooo scared i have cancer! i am only 1*, and i am terrified! my dad felt it and said that he had a bump just like it on his lower lip once, which happened to be a cyst and he got it removed, and if he even thought the slightest bit that i had cancer he would have taken me to the hospital as soon as we noticed it. we kinda just forgot about it, and i dont exactly know why i started noticing it again. i can't stop touching it now!
my dad said to go to the doctor to get it checked out but i am soooo scared that he is going to tell me i have cancer. lately, like for the past few weeks, its all i can think about! i don't want to have cancer, i'm soooooo scared! do any of you think its cancer??
