Hi all !

have not been posting alot... Am now in radiation I go 5 days a week for a minimum of 5 weeks and so far I am on treatment day 14... Have a terrible sore mouth and throat .. have a yeast infection in my throat caused by the radiation and I EXTREMELY tired... i thought chemo was bad... lol

Not sure how anyone else's radiation is done but mine is dont with a mask made of your face and once it is molded they mark it where they are going to do the treatment and then once you lie down on the scan table it snaps in place over your face so that you cant move.. wouldnt be too bad except I HATE anything over my face.. I mean I totally freaked out.. so now I take 5 milligrams of valium 1/2 hr before the session and I can make it thru it!!

It is funny I gained weight with the chemo and now with the radiation I am losing guess it is because of my mouth and throat thingy.. no appetite and if I do get hungry it all tastes like cardboard or is impossible to swallow! i am living on Ensure and popcicles.... I am hoping to continue losing the cause I really need to!!!!!!

any way just saying hi and bringing ya'll up todate... if anybody has specific questions on what i have been going thru please ask!!!!!

Just wanted to wish you well. Sounds like youre going through a lot right now--you will be in my prayers

Im having a lymph node in my neck biopsied on Monday--im quite nervous about it--so we'll see how that goes. How many lymph nodes did you have, where were they, and how big were they? Just curious. I have a lot of strange symptoms going on and have had just about every test imaginable--including mri's, ct's and a pet scan and tons of blood tests.

My prayers are with you also.

I just had a 2 centimeter tumor on the right side of my face near the salvia gland. As far as I know there are no more lymph glands involved. But with lymphoma they put you thru a rigorous regime of chemo and radiation because they dont know for sure what causes it and it has a high reoccurence rate. My radiologist said that what I am doing is the closest thing to a cure they offer. Today they informed me I needed to eat more,,, lol i dont think so .. i can stand to lose some weight and i will take it off however i can .. my mouth and throat are so sore i can hardly swallow and i have no appetite and everything tastes like cardboard!!! so far i have lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks.. i think i will stick to just drinking the ensure and eating ice cream!!!!

Please keep me posted as to how your biopsy comes out and how you are doing!!!
