There is absolutely lots of hope, particularly for this kind of lymphoma, which I also have, though mine is also in my bone marrow. I have already had three cycles of chemotherapy/rituxan and the scan shows the lymph nodes in my abdomen are greatly reduced in size since July.
What is the treatment plan for your mother? There are several treatment options and this lymphoma is very slow growing so, unless it is interfering with any organs and causing problems, she has time to decide what treatment to take.
