Chances are your lymph nodes are up because they're fighting infection - that is their job after all.

However ...... you really need to go for the tests for your own peace of mind or you are going to make yourself ill....with worry.

I know what it's like when you get an idea in your head and you can think of nothing else, it becomes almost an obsession and it isn't nice
