Lymphoma and Mold

Has anyone heard of any connection between Lymphoma and mold? My BIL is extremely ill with Lymphoma and it has just been brought to my attention that they have a serious mold problem in their home. My sister hasn't had any ill effects from the mold and I am wondering if this could be a reason for his Lymphoma?

Re: Lymphoma and Mold

I have wondered this myself. When I became sick with CLL I had been exposed to a lot of mold and fungus due to cleaning out a relatives house that I bought. Nobody else got sick either.
I tried googling and it came up with some stuff but nothing good.

I tried posting on the enviromental page here but no one answered.

Keep us posted if you find anything. I will still look also.

Take care

I didn't know anything about this! Interesting. I wonder if my BIL had been exposed to mold? He has CLL and low grade lymphoma. Please keep us posted!

Re: Lymphoma and Mold

Are we on to something here? Could the mold overload the immune system therefore causing our white cells intollerance to fight cancer cells? Think about it, if our immune system is fighting off the effects of mold spores it makes sense that it would not be able to have the strength to fight off cancer.

Keep me posted.
