Good Morning~

I had my left side neck, cervical lymph node removed last Tuesday. I called my surgeons office on Friday and there were no results yet. My question is, If something was fond, would I have gotten the pathology results already or could it man maybe something is there and they have sent it out for a second opinion??
Can anyone tell me about their experience on length of time for path. report etc??

Hi Susie

I had to wait two whole weeks until my ent appointment to find out my results, mine were positive though for something which i am still trying to get to the bottom of.

In most cases on hear, I have been told that they are called back as soon as they get positive results.

Hows your neck feeling, is it sore?

I'm so sorry that you're having to wait so long for this Susie. That's the hardest part........the wait.

I had mine back in 4 days. It wasn't good but I sort of knew because of the awful night sweats I was having.

I hope you hear something soon.

The waiting is the worst! Mine took about two weeks as I understand lymphoma is sometimes difficult to diagnose, so it really does not mean much if you do not hear quickly. Hopefully, yours will be fine!
