I went to the doctor's a few months back because I was feeling tired. She sent me to a specialist who noticed that my lymph nodes under my arms were enlarged (but not a lot). Well, he sent me for an ultrasound and an enlarged lymph node showed up on my pancreas. He said it wasn't that much bigger than normal but thought I should have a CT scan because he is "morbid and thinks the worst". I of course didn't ask him what that meant because I don't process these things until after the appointment. He wants me to go back to my PCP and see if she thinks I should have a CT scan. I ******d enlarged pancreatic lymph node and all i got was pancreatic cancer but I am way too young for that (34). Can anyone tell me what this means?
Be careful what you look up on the internet. It will scare the h--- out of you. Typically it is the worse case scenerio that you will read about. Go get the tests done that you need to and you may find out that this is nothing. Until you get the tests don't worry about it. Please let us know how you are doing and what you find out.
