| Our Deepest Sympathy, Linda
Dear Linda,
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I can't say that I know exactly everything you're feeling, but having lost a dear sibling years ago, I feel I can sympathize with you.
I'm sure I speak for all of us here...we were so hoping Don would make a recovery.
I felt the heartfelt sadness in everyone's posts, as he was losing his fight.
You painted him as such a lovely human being, with everything in life going for him. I think all of us here grew to love him, too, from your lovely description of him & his family.
Why God chooses to take our loved one's home "before their time," will always be a quandary. It's not fair. Life is not fair.
You've told me over & over in this forum to "look for the rainbow."
And, I know it's there. It's just cloudy sometimes, and then the sky opens up, and there it is. Sometimes it just takes time to find it.
Don put up an incredible fight. He gave a lot of us strength here, through you.
I wish I could contact you in person.
You know I'm on here frequently, and anytime you want to talk...
I'll be here for you. You've been an amazing friend to me & many of us here.
May God help you find strength during this difficult time.
My heart is so heavy. I would love to help out.
Love, S.
