hi i am worried about my little girl who is 18 months old, she has at present 2 large lumps on her neck on either side and she has had 2 lumps in her head behind her right ear since she was a small baby aged around 3 months, she has had blood test around the age of eight months and it was ok but the 2 lumps in her neck are new. She is going to paediatrician about her new lumps i was just wondering if her lumps in her head are related to her new lumps in her neck and is it possiable that a child as young as her could have lymphoma?

Hi.
I really don't know how young a child can be to develop lymphoma.
Your best bet, is to ask your pediatrician, and if you're not happy, get a 2nd opinion.
Lymph glands can swell for a number of reasons, and it's not always lymphoma.
They fight infection, so it could be something else.
It's good you're getting to the bottom of it.

hi thanks for your reply, i am just wondering if my daughter is fighting some infection or virus why is she not unwell she has no symptoms to speek of, i will find out when she has her appointment tomorrow thanks again for the reply motther10cat.
