i had a needle biopsy of my lymph node i believe both core and fna. I also had flow cytometry. Does the core needle make a clicking noise or the FNA mnake the clicking noise im dtrying to figur eout which needle was used.

anyway my hematologist/encologist said def benign nothing suspicious. I keep reading online this test is sometimes inaccurate in a definitie diagnosis? What does that mean? Does it make in diagnosing a specific cancer? Or telling you its benign vs malignant.

She said it loosk perfect nothing to worry about. My blood work is perfect as well adn I do not have any symptoms..

my family and doctor tells me to drop it i dont have cancer youve had the biopsy. i am a paranoid person obviously should i just let this go?

The core biopsy makes the clicking noise. I just had a regular needle biopsy - then they ordered me to have the core biopsy - which makes the clicking noise.

Sounds like you have nothing to worry about. Really. Many times swollen nodes are benign. Your lucky.

thank you for responding. The reason I am so afraid is because I can feel my supraclavicular lymph nodes a few in each collar bone. I read this is serious and should not be felt however the ct scan showed only 1 enlarged 1.1cm and some doctors wouldnt even consider this enlarged. Are you able to feel those lymph nodes?

Yes, I can feel mine. However, even my doctor thought they were going to be benign. So, because you can feel them does not mean they are serious. An ultrasound is a very good test to do as well. Ask them about that. There may be reasons they are not doing ultrasound - but doesn't hurt to ask.
