swollem lymphnodes - Lymphomas Message Board

I went to the doctor about 2 months ago about swollen lymphnodes (left side), he was a little concerened blood work came back normal, he did a chest x ray, everything was fine, he felt around the area said it didnt feel cancerious, he also felt my stomach kidneys ect said everything seemed fine. The doctor perscribed me and antibiotic and naproxin the size of the lymphnodes went down, however about a week ago the area around the nodes and my collar bone swelled up. Any Ideas thanks Joe

Why an antibiotic and an anti inflammatory? did you have an infection?
It is quite common for your lymphnodes to be enlarged if you have a virus or an infection though you don't mention having had either. Why the meds?
The only thing i know for sure is that you should seek a second opinion.
