Too many things. Have you not consulted a doctor yet, that would be my first call. Generalised lymphadenopathy can be associated with a number of chronic infections or blood disorders. What you want to find out is are there other symptoms together with the swellings. Like for example: pain, fever, tiredness, nausea, headaches, weight loss anything at all. Sometimes people pick up a mild infection and become carriers of the disease (bacteria or virus) or parasite, they may have swollen lymph glands but nothing else shows. I would make a timeline of when you first noticed the swellings, where you noticed them first and where did they spread to first. Then ask yourself about other medical complaints you may have had since then. Those problems that are recurrent are more important. Those that happen frequently may be linked to the swellings. Best advice would be to have yourself examined by a doctor, you can't treat yourself and you can't treat something if you don't know what it is. Good luck
