CT Scan question. - Lymphomas Message Board

I have a copy of my CT scan on my abdomen, which I viewed on my compter. I see many BLACK "spots" in my abdomen. Do the black spots mean that is where the cancer is? I have no idea how to read them, but that to me seems to be the logical reasoning. Am I right about this?

Radiologists are highly trained professionals, they are the only people qualified to read scans accurately. I wouldn't be trying to read it if I were you, it will only cause you anxiety. I've looked at mine and even with the Radiologists report I can't see what he's talking about. Good luck with your scan results.

I had(have,in remission) NHL in my spleen,abdomen,stomach,and chest areas. I bet I've had 10 CT scans over the past few years and never looked at one of them.Probably wouldn't have mad any sense to me anyway. Good luck with your treatments

I don't know what I was looking at either, just grasping for staws. I had a laparotomy yesterday, and they removed a lymph node for biopsy. Now I have to wait until Monday to get my results. Gonna be a long week. Just want to get this whole thing either started, or put to rest.
