Enlarged neck lymph nodes for over 2 years plus other symptoms - Lymphomas Message Board

Two years ago I found a large lump on my chest near my sternum..they are hard and unmoving. The one has grown larger and i have 5 more now. At the same time i also found 2 enlarged painless lymph nodes on my neck on each side near the middle of my neck near the back..I also found some in the grove at the base of my neck on my left side They are movable but are hard. Alittle time went by and i developed an achiness flu like feeling in my body. Two years later now...i have full blown immense pain in my joints and my muscles are so weak and ache too. I get headaches all the time and I my chronic cough has become productive with mucus. I have a sensitivity to cold..im always cold...my fingers and toes actually turn purple/blue...i have severe anemia, which i take medicine for, i still have severe fatigue...and i have bruises all over my legs. I have chronic ear infections (had tubes in my ears at age 7) so that suprised me and i have lost 16 pounds now in two weeks. I have been on antibodics ...i have had a cbc..an xray..and bone scan..all normal...my doctors wont help me. I can barely eat anymore cuz i feel so full even when i dont eat and feel extremely naseaus all the time...i keep getting 100 degree low temps and my blood pressure is 105/85....Im trying to find a doctor that can help me but with my normal bloodwork they give up...and my lymph nodes about the size of a womans pinky fingernail. Could I still have like a cancerous lymphoma? Cancer runs heavily on both sides of my family..my moms side is completely wiped out from cancer including her one sister who died at 28 from a misdiagniosis and it worries me alittle. Thank you. Sorry this is so long but IM SO DESPERATE!!!

im sorry youre going through this. look up doctors in your area online and start making phone calls to get a new doctor

Im so sorry you are feeling this bad ,recently I also found a lump , my lump was on the right side of my neck it started off small but grew I went to see one doc who told me it was an infection and sent me out the door I seen my own doc who sent me to and ear nose and throat speacialist who found the problem it was cancer , so please find your self a new doc or if you havent already go see an ENT

I am just going thru the same thing. I have had what the call the "b" symptoms on & off for several months and a swollen lymphnode on my neck just under my ear. It is large and itchy, my GP was not concerned but is sending me to an ENT. My concern is my brother at 11 yrs old (in forties now) had non-hodgkins lymphoma and wonder if it is hereditary. I did not even think about this but I started to google swollen glands because I did not think an ENT dr would be the right way to go....Going to my appt next week any suggestions, because what I am hearing is they blow this off a lot. My brother had a lump in the groin for 2 years when my mother insisted they take it out and it was NHL. Anyone recommend that I have it removed now?
