Unhappy At end of my rope. Lumps everywhere feel sick all the time. Useless Doc..Help Please

Hello I have been posting on different boards for awhile trying to get answers. recently a friend mentioned lymphoma to me and I started researching. I am scared by the similarities I have found ok here goes...Thanks in advance for listening

I am 28 years old and female. My only medical problems in the past are degenerative disc disease in my spine (early onset) 3 herniated discs one of which I had surgery on one year ago to relieve a nearly severed sciatic nerve. Otherwise (asthma as a kid) I have been very healthy (back probs started 3 years ago). I have always yo yo'd with my weight I was 185 before surgery and now about 230lbs and 5ft 10

Past 5 months.....I began having severe bowel trouble feeling fullness, severe bloating and pain near belly button and up right side/ middle under ribs. Went to my primary who litterally told me I was disgusting and it was because I gained so much weight. ...A few weeks later symptoms worse I could not get out of bed alot of mucus in feces etc (sorry tmi). He felt a lump on the right side of my belly said he thought it was enlarged aortic artery.......had CT scan showed nothing....found blood and leukocites in Urine......two small lumps started to develop on my right ribs and one at bottom of breast and one in my chest. He poked at the one on my rib and said it was a lipoma. I showed him the one on my chest and he poked it very hard.....I winced in pain and said ouch....he laughed in my face and poked it again and said "it doesn't hurt lipomas don't hurt"....It did/does hurt......he said there was nothing more he was willing to do since ct was normal (he said showed calcifications that were normal) and he referred me to a Gastro...I have been on a waiting list for 5 months since due to having state medical.......He never had an answer for blood in urine etc

Since then I have developed a lump in my elbow (on the flesh side where blood is drawn) about the size of a golf ball (it gets bigger and smaller on daily basis) I have a large one on the back of my knee (flesh side) the ones on my ribs are considerably larger....and there is a huge I mean size of a fist ...lump that you can still feel in my stomach. I have shown it to a few family members and they can feel it easily and say "oh my god"...so it is there and it is hard...the others are kinda moveable (when smaller but not when bigger) the one in my breast feels like two (at very bottom of breast) about size of golf ball also! These things are popping up fast and growing at an alarming rate (5months ago I had NONE) My stomach issues never go away but I do have good days but bad days it is like shooting pain in that lump and through my stomach. It is not like a flu upset belly it is PAIN!

Over the past 8 days I have felt very sick....feel like I have the flu but no vomitting, chills, coughing, anything that is normal flu other than the severe body aches all over and EXTREME tiredness!!! My neck is very sore (but I do have a herniation there) my whole body is sore. My temp ranges from normal to around 99.9 but no higher. I just don't understand how CT could have been normal there is an obvious Something poking out of my stomach!!! My doc (quack homeopath but assigned by state healthcare) won't do anything until I see gastro called and they said it could be 4-6 more months....I am afraid to wait that long....I can't work and exercise/lots of movement makes it worse! ( I have worked social work for 9 years). My state healthcare won't allow me to go to the er without doc approval and he wants me to go to the gastro. Lately every time I eat my stomach hurts or I just don't feel like eating, headaches all the time. But on the otherhand I only have night sweats ocassionally (a few times monthly), my temp is not always higher than normal, No huge lumps in any of the common areas such as armpits mayve very small pea in one side of groin but nothing huge and CT was clear????? This is really affecting my life whatever it is....I can't just change docs with this insurance or I would have already...I always leave crying and I know something is really not right but they are the docs so......did anyone out there have similar experience or anything I should be watching for or ...........ANYTHING.....thank you and good luck to you all -jen

Oh boy...it sounds to me like you def. need a new Doctor with a better bed side manner. I had non hodgkins lymphoma with a lump under my arm and he is right about that, it did not hurt so hopefully that can be ruled out.....good luck and take care.

Get a new Doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for response and good luck to you. I did want to add that not all of my lumps hurt mostly the one in my stomach and one in my chest the big one is my arm does not hurt at all nor the one on back of my knee.....Yeah I am working on the change of docs but it is really really hard to find a new one because each one only accepts so many state insurance clients or they wont do chronic pain patients (I take vicodan for my spine thing so I am considered chronic pain) it is a process!-Jen

Could be Kimura Disease? I read about it on another post and wondered if I suffer the same problem. Look on wikipedia. It might help. Best wishes.

Your Dr sounds like a real jerk! Have you heard of Dercum's disease? I have quite a few lipomas and some of them really hurt!
