| Lyphoma in Child
My 9 year old daughter develope an enlarged lymphnode on her right groin area about 1 week ago. Very visible by just looking at her. Another swollen lymphnode developed 5 days later. Now she has approx 5 lymphnodes swollen on her right groin and 2 on left groin. She has smaller swollen lymphnodes in her neck and on the back of her neck.
Blood tests came back normal. The largest of the lymph nodes measures 1 cm by 1.5 cm on each side of groin.
We are in the wait and see mode now that the blood tests are normal. She has no fever and illnesses. Her lymph nodes are painless.
We wait 2 weeks and then go back to see doctor if no change. If they get bigger, she has a fever, or rash, or gets sick, then we go back immediately.
Next step is 2 weeks of antibiotics. If that doesn't work, then biopsy.
Could this be lymphoma? I know only a biopsy will show truly. But, are these symptoms pointing to it?
