Hey all,
I'm worried about the possibility that I have lymphoma and I'm hoping to get some advice from you all. I have just suffered from multiple other health conditions and had 3 cancer scares already, so I am constantly worried about cancer.
I'll make this short and sweet:
I'm a 20 y/o obese female.
I had my tonsils removed when I was seven - 2 months ago, I had a sore throat, off + on for about a week. I looked in the mirror, and I had a lump, about 1cm by 1.5cm where my tonsil is. A week later, I fainted at work (which has never ever happened before). I went to ER, they said heat exhaustion even though it wasn't all that hot out. I brought up the lump because the timing seemed weird, he referred me to an ENT. ENT said tonsil regrowth, come back in 6 weeks and I'll decide if I want to take them out again. But he barely looked at it.
Tomorrow is my second appt with the ENT. The lump has grown, but just barely. However, I have pain in my ear (like an ear infection type pain) and in my throat/outer neck area. When I drink alcohol, I get this burning sensation around the area and in my neck. I get sore throats around the area, but the bump itself is hard and doesn't hurt. I do not have any swollen lymph nodes, except for the random growth of one side of tonsil.
Additionally, I've been suffering from severe exhaustion for over a year now. Over the last six weeks, I've been noticing a shortness of breath type thing, but it comes and goes so I'm wondering if it's anxiety or psychosomatic? It feels like a tightness in my chest and sometimes I have to pant to get breaths, and I'm constantly yawning. Also, I've been having chest pain - but I take meds for acid reflux, and my gallbladder was removed 8 months ago, so it's not that. I've been getting headaches and having dizzy spells to the point where my eyes shake. I've been itching, but I think I'm noticing because of the whole online symptom checker thing.
Finally, my doc did blood work after the whole fainting issue, and I came back with highly elevated liver levels. I was diagonsed with probable fatty liver at 15, but I've never had elevated liver levels (and I have blood work several times a year).
I know this is a lot of info, but does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
