Size of Normal Lymph Nodes
Hey everyone! I'd really appreciate some help with a question I have.
There is a lymph node underneath my chin that I can feel pretty easily. It actually slightly protrudes from the skin whenever I lift my chin high. It's seems to be about 1 cm in diameter, perhaps a little bigger. It's been there for as long as I can remember, and the size has never changed. It's not tender or painful, and I don't have any sickness symptoms. I never thought too much of it until recently. A few days ago, I started freaking out, trying to think of what could be causing the node to so apparent. But then I thought, maybe it's just the normal size of a lymph node? Maybe the reason why it's apparent is because it's close to the skin? What do you guys think?
