Hello,
I am a 59 yo female, and have been recently diagnosed with CTCL. I am hoping to find others who are dealing with this rare form of cancer and can lend support or to offer others what ever help I can lend in living with this. I am currently taking targretin 2X a day and using topical ointments. I had been doctoring with what was thought to be a serious case of exzema for about 4 years and until my latest flare up involving my face arms and legs, was biopsied and diagnosed. I am upset and scared but trying to keep an upbeat outlook as this in most cases is supposedly very treatable. It is hard to go out and face the world with all the swelling and redness on my face and hands..I look pretty awful. Im trying.
Please respond and let me know what it is that you do to feel better or how you are doing currently.
