does the doc think its lymphoma

hi,
I have been ill for a a while now my symptoms are:
abdominal pain, back pain, feeling very weak particularly in legs and arms, night sweats which actually wake me up a couple of times a night maybe twice a week sometimes more, feel constantly drained and exhausted, pain around ear and jaw, which is much worse drinking alcohol and also my abdominal area and mid back feels very sore to touch.

I have been back and forth to the docs had numerous blood tests - the only thing that has showed up is low white blood count, high platelet and inflammation. But its only intermittently.

So i went to see a different doc the other day and told her about everything. she examined me around my armpits and neck area and she found a lump at the back of my neck which i have never noticed. So she sent for more blood tests and told me if they come back normal she still is going to refer me to a hematologist. I went back to see her today and she asked me have i been itching much i told her i have but only on my head really! I asked her what would i expect when i see the specialist, she said they will prob do a chest xray and look for blood diseases.

I am quite worried now because i was convinced it was hormonal until my bloods come back normal. I have been doing my research today on google(which I prob shouldn't have) Could the doc think its lymphoma?? What does a hematologist do?
thanks in advance

First of all, take a deep breath. Your going to ok. Hematologist study ur blood. It sounds like u are i'll with something, u need to keep working with doctors until they figure it out. In the meantime try eating quality foods and getting good rest. Dont waist time "googling" ur syptoms. The internet will make u think u have about 4 days left to live! If u r diagnosed with lymphoma try to see a specialist. Bettr doctors equal beter treatment. Good luck
