Sister found two lumps on breast again. - Menopause Message Board

My sister just called upset/crying..She has found two large lumps by her nipple area again...She has an appointment with her OBGYN on Thursday for a check up...

This happened to her last year when her mamo found 5 lumps and when she went for furthering testing after a week of crying, sleepness nights, and many phone calls the results were fatty tissues??
I mentioned this site for her but she said she's too upset right now so I told her I would ask everyone if anyone out there has had this happened to them
any comments or suggestions would be appreicated...

I also hope this is the right site? She is 43 yrs old, thin build, small breats,
very active but always tired...

They are probably just cysts. My mother gets them all of the time. They slowly fill up with water till they reach about the size of a small egg. Then they pop.

On my second mamogram they found two small ones that I didn't even know were there. They could not tell they were cysts until they did an ultrasound. Sure enough one of them filled up so big that it was very painful. I had it drained, but it filled back up again. I just endured and one day it popped and slowly drained and has not appeared since.

Both of mine were in the same breast really close together. It is hard not to freak out. I am crossing my fingers that it is just cysts.
