Hi Jenn062,
Dry eyes were the first symptom I experienced this past August. My eyes suddenly became blood shot red, felt burning/tired like, kind of sensitive to light, and I can tell it affected my vision some. At first, I thought it were allergies.
While my eyes were like this, I also started to feel the worse I have ever felt in my entire life. At first, I thought it were my eyes that were causing it, but apparently I was experiencing these other horrible peri-meno symptoms at the same time (dizziness, headaches, extreme fatigue, internal shakes. etc.)
I recommend you go see an Ophthalmologist as soon as you can. You don't want it to get worse because it can cause permanent vision damage. In the meantime, don't wear contacts if you normally do. Also, make sure you use OTC drops (in individual vials) that are preservative-free only. My dr. eventually put on me a new prescription drop called Restasis which I am still using. It has improved my eyes tremendously. I am still being treated for dry eyes even tho my tear productions are now at Level 9/10 (Level 10 is considered pretty normal for my age). I am in their study program for this new drop so I'm still using it for now.
Hope this helps...keep me posted on how it goes with you.
Molly
