I've tried over 6 different labels, all cuts and all sizes, and I think the next thing I'll try on will be some maternity jeans! Don't know about the rest of you ladies but I just can't find any that fit well. Either the waist is way too big on the back side of the pants and not enough in the front or they ride way too high, like Steve Urkel's, or they fit in the waist and bag every where else. What are we to do, quit wearing jeans? I tried some with elastic in the waist and then you have all the lumpy, bumpy extra fabric between the waist and hip that seems to just bunch up under your shirt and make you look that much bigger. Maternity jeans have that stretch panel in the front and wouldn't have all the extra fabric bunching up but getting shirts that are long enough to cover the panel may be a problem. I do fairly well with dress slacks that have the elastic just in the sides of the waistband but haven't seen any jeans made this way. If any of you ladies that suffer from menotummy as I do have found jeans that are both comfortable and flattering I wish you'd let me in on the brand. The work I do calls for heavy fabrics like denim to stand up to the every day wear and tear but I'm really tired of being cut in two at the waist or having room enough in the seat for an extra cheek. Help me if you can, please. cg
