Question What does high Estradiol level mean?
Any ideas on these results? LH and FSH were normal for postmenopausal[p-m] women. The estradiol [an estrogen] was high for P-M women at 62 [n 0-30]. The testosterones :the free test .1 [n.3-1.9] and free % .8[n.9-3.8]. the total test was 18 [n 12-72]. Feeling very much like I have estrogen dominance; extreme fatigue. Periods ended 2 yrs ago, also on Synthroid for hypothyroidism and using natural progesterone cream. Thanks

Do not know much about E2, except it seems to drive the breast development.

The low testosterone levels can cause loss of sex drive.

How was the progesterone levels?

Progesterones, estrogens, & testosterones all have to be balanced for good health in males & females. They are just different ratios in men.

I don't think progesterone was tested. Is it possible the estrogen could go down if the testosterone and/or progesterone is increased?
