| Headaches
I started having symptoms of menopause when I was 45. I'm 47 now. My doctor did a blood test and said I needed to be on hormones. Anyway, I NEVER got headaches until menopause started, and now I get what my doctor refers to as sinus migraines. It feels like your sinuses just start having shooting pains through them and you can feel the pain in the top of your head also. Sometimes it causes me to see light halos. Does anyone else have this as a menopause symptom? If so, what causes it and what is the best thing to take for it? He prescribed me a pill that works real well, but even with my insurance, it costs $25 for 6 pills, and you can only get it refilled once in a year's time. I get these headaches real often, so the pills disappear way before a year is up. Just wondering if there is anything cheaper that would also work. Thanks
