Loestrin for Peri Symptoms

First of all thanks Dipity200 for the information about Loestrin.

I'd like to hear from others who have used Loestrin or other low dosage bcp to help with their perimenopausal symptoms. My reproductive endocrinologist suggested that I try Loestrin and she was quite positive about me trying this particular brand.

I take my first pill tonight...I pray that the Lord will bless us with hormonal health.

Bottoms Up (Gulp....)

Re: Loestrin for Peri Symptoms

Andrea, I took my first Loestrin last night and with in an hour I felt good. It's had to describe, but although many of my symptoms are still here I had a peaceful calm feeling. Well, that subsided a couple of hours later when I took the Sarafem, which is strange. I didn't feel so nervous and spacey when I took the Sarafem along with the Vivelle ***. So I plan to take the Loestrin tonight and skip the Sarafem to see how I feel. Going through the trial an error process seems to be the only way in finding that "happy pill". I read another post, at another site, where a women had to go try 7 different hrt combination before she finally found success with Cenestin. She now feels happy and "normal" again. This is my 4th attempt...
