Snodove! Polly! It's two days before I go to the stone mill!

Hi Polly! Where have u been? I haven't heard from you, r u okay? How's the potassium? I'm really nervous and it's not helping me hot flashes lately. Saw my gyne for pap smear on Friday and she doesn't want me to use the progesterone creme anymore, just take the Prozac. Well, guess what, after beginning hot flashes again, I just might go back using it, LOL It helps tremendously with hot flashes. Well, Kidney stone crushing around the corner. Oh My God! I hope I come through this okay. They said I could move around and go back to my usual activity just no driving for 24 hours. Is this true? They are going up my bladder first, then going to crush the stone, and hopefully they won't have to put a stent in, but they've discussed the possibilities with me already. Not looking forward to this, not at all! Please write, I want to know how you are, how you are feeling, etc.

Love and hugs,

Andrea

Andrea,
Why does your doctor want you to quit using the progesterone cream? And the prozac? That seems it would cause you anxiety. Good luck with the stone situation. I'm sure you will be ok. God Bless.

She doesn't think I need progesterone any longer at my age, but sometimes doctors have a hard time understanding estrogen dominance in women who are perimenopause. Anyways, she wants me to increase the Prozac, discontinue the progesterone creme, but I doubt that I will cause it helps me with my hot flashes.

Have you tried flax seed? They say it helps with hot flashes. I just started taking it two days ago.
